State Bank is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year! And we’d like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to our customers for allowing us to serve you for the past 70 years. We look forward to serving you for many more years to come. State Bank opened for business in 1953, but not without its challenges. The process of starting up this new bank in Golden Meadow actually began in 1948. There was little support in the beginning, but the founders continued to press on and knew that what they were doing was important. Finally after many years of hard work, State Bank & Trust Company opened its doors on Saturday, January 17, 1953. State Bank welcomed the public, and quote: “this bank was organized for the sole purpose of serving all the people of the Tenth Ward and Grand Isle in addition to those throughout the Parish and neighboring ones. We welcome your visit…not only on opening day, but throughout many years to come!” The leadership of State Bank still feels this way today…we are committed to providing our customers with the best service possible and we welcome everyone to come experience our Cajun Banking style of service. Congratulations on 70 Years!

We offer Mobile Deposit in our Mobile Banking App that allows you to deposit checks into a State Bank Checking or Savings Account remotely by capturing an image of the check with a smart phone or tablet.

Prior to using this feature, you will be prompted to read the Online Banking Agreement and accept the Terms and Conditions of using this service.

Please Refer to Item #37 of this agreement for a list of eligible items (checks) that can be deposited using this feature, check endorsement requirements, and all other applicable terms and conditions relating to the use of this feature.
