  • Our employees access only necessary information needed to conduct the business of a customer. 
  • We educate our employees on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of both our customers’ and former customers’ information. 
  • Both physical and electronic security procedures have been implemented to protect customers’ and former customers’ information.  All of our systems operate in a secure environment which protects that information from being accessed without authority.
  • Access is allowed only in accordance with our internal security standards and procedures.

  • Information about customers is gathered in a variety of different ways:

1.  Information is collected from you on applications or other forms

2.  Information is collected about your transactions with us

3.  Information is collected from a consumer reporting agency

  • Most information is provided to us directly from our customers themselves. 
  • The amount of information that is collected about our customers and the use of that information is strictly limited to what is necessary to carry out our banking business.

Nonpublic Personal Information We Disclose

  • It is the policy of State Bank to never sell information about our customers or former customers. 
  • State Bank may provide information to third party companies where permissible or required by federal or state law. 
  • Information may be released to others if written authorization from the customer or former customer has been provided to us prior to release, or if a customer initiates the transaction. 
  • State Bank does provide information to third party agents of the Bank to service our customers’ bank accounts or to offer other products and services.

Notify Us of Inaccurate Information We Report to Consumer Reporting Agencies

  • Please notify us if we report any inaccurate information about your account(s) to a consumer reporting agency.  Your written notice describing the specific inaccuracy(ies) should be sent to us at the following address:
